I started at The Standard in August 1960 as a 16 year old Junior Clerk in the Cost Office at Fletch South working for Doug Swan (recently deceased).
The office moved to Canley via The Directors Block and worked through the various sections within the office and was Office Supervisor in 1972.
At the demise of Canley I moved to Fletch North reporting to JRT Engineering Finance (Jack Earnshaw) and then onto Land Rover where I enjoyed some great times working with the Discovery team before moving to Jaguar Cars in 1990, finally retiring from Whitley in 2002.
