The retirement was announced at the end of January (1950) of Mr. A. E. Wilson and Mr. G. J. Endicott.
Mr Wilson (left) served The Standard Motor Company Limited for over 30 years, and was Chief Car Allocation Clerk (Home Sales), since 1945. Mr Endicott’s (right) service with the Company was in excess of 20 years, and he was chief Allocation Clerk (Export Sales) in the post war period.
Members of the Management, Executive and Staff, recently met to express appreciation of their services, and to make a presentation to them both. Sir John Black expressed his personal appreciation of their long and loyal service, and wished them both happiness in their retirement.
Mr. W. J. R. Warren (General Sales Manager), also paid tribute to their work, and made the presentation to each. We are sure their many friends in the Industry, both at home and abroad, will join with us in wishing them many years of well earned retirement.
