JACK CALLEN (65), a fitter in the Trim Shop, retired after over 25 years’ work with the Company.
He started under Charlie Harrison in the old 3XA Shop in 1946. Afterwards he worked in Radford Machine Shop. Five years ago he moved to fitting in the Trim Shop. Mr. T. Mallier, Deputy Superintendent, Trim Shop, presented a sum of money from Jack’s workmates. Jack and his wife live at 178 Three Spires Avenue, Radford. They have sons and daughters married and there are several grandchildren.
