Mr. T. R. S. Lawson. A member of the Publicity Department, Mr. Thomas Richard Stone Lawson, died on March 19, 1959, aged 63. He leaves a widow and one son.
Mr. Lawson served in the Royal Air Force for more than 30 years, retiring in 1945 with the rank of Flight-lieutenant. In 1942 he was awarded the M.B.E. for outstanding service in connection with the RAF’s operations over France. He joined the Standard Motor Company in 1947, working as a guide to visitors until 1955. He was then in charge of visits for a year. In 1956 he suffered a serious illness. Mr. Lawson was a member of the Standard Branch of the British Legion.
