I was an apprentice engineering draughtsman at Triumph from 1965-1970; worked on Engine design team with Derek A. Lardner as my section leader…noticed he died earlier this month.
With reference to the members of the Standard Works Rugby team in the photograph, I recognise
Gath Jenkins (my father) middle row 2nd from right, would have been either half back or first five position…..

and
Rayner Jenkins (his brother/my uncle), front row 1st on right end, he would have been ‘full-back position’.
