We’d like your opinion of the development of the archive – This is a recently submitted photo, we’ll add the details later, with a few tweaks here and there we were able to colour it. What do you think?
The first photo shows the original black and white photo…
The second the coloured photo. The colours are guessed. It’s a semi-automatic process and we had to manually changed the lapels to red to be accurate on the foreman. Note the gentleman on the right his hand hasn’t been picked up at all and remains grey and every test photo we have done everyones hair has come out black and clothese generally picked up as blue!
It’s certainly interesting to see colour but not being accurate is is worth the transition? Let us know what you think.
