Throughout the years at Standard and Triumph the company offered a works discount to employees.
The discount was dependent on the number of years worked and initially cars were ordered through Newsomes (Standard Triumph Coventry dealership).
When demand deemed as such additional dealers had to be sourced in the area.
A works car was often bought as the basic spec and “identified” on the track with the bells and whistles appearing on the finished car!
All the cars featured here were owned by one member of staff whom benefitted with the staff discount scheme – further details to follow…
