Mike Cook Pt2

I made a post a while ago about my Father and Brother:

I had met Mike Cook when I was probably about 14 years old, saw him two years ago at the Annual Triumph Register Meet in Princeton, NJ.

We were able to chat for a while. Mike was true gentleman and an authority on Standard – Triumph History in the USA, He will certainly be missed.

My Brother was part of the US Triumph Herald build team, Francis Gentle. Dad was the coach, they spent quite a few Saturday’s practicing putting that Herald together at Genser-Forman (Triumph Distributor) in Union, NJ.

The Team left to right:

Bill Greehey, Mike Cook, Francis Gentle, Mike Jacklin.

The Team performed at the press launch and several distributor meetings, the final event was on a  national TV show on NBC “Today Show”, with Dave Garroway not the Jack Paar show.  Mike was not at that event he had to be in Europe for a Triumph Rally, Frank Pennington stood in for him.

I think my Brother might have the original transcripts from that show.

Would it be possible to forward this email to Drew Cook so I could put him in touch with my Brother?
